Shortly after arrival all clients go through a detailed intake process that includes a thorough health questionnaire. Soon after intake all clients are required to be evaluated by a physician to ensure their condition would be effectively treated at our detox facilities. If and when clearance is given the client will undergo an orientation procedure to address client’s rights and responsibilities. Any and all medications prescribed will be safeguarded in a locked storage container inside a locked room and monitored by staff. Medications will be made available at designated times scheduled in accordance with physician’s orders. There are no exceptions to these rules. Upon discharge all remaining medications will be destroyed in accordance with local and state regulations. If medications are required after discharge an appropriate physician prescription will be given. At no time will medications be leaving the facility.
