Anxiety is a fear of the future. Disorders related directly to anxiety and stressors are the most common types of mental health problems in the world today. The most common anxiety disorders are as follows; social anxiety, general anxiety and panic attacks. How people react to feelings of uneasiness, apprehension and worry separates normal responses from abnormal responses. The key to coping with anxiety lies in a person’s ability to distinguish real threats from imagined threats. Taking control of what is controllable and accepting what is not enables a person to overcome most anxious situations. |
