Alcohol Detox FAQ
Is this an in-patient or out-patient facility?
Our facility is strictly an in-patient facility. Furthermore, we don’t believe that any out-patient facility can offer the proper supervision necessary to effectively treat clients. In relation to alcohol detox, residential care is of the utmost importance because of the potential for physical complications related to alcohol withdrawal.

Is this a twelve step based program?
Yes. We include twelve-step recovery as an effective tool in gaining accurate insight into a client’s core issues and secondary addictive behaviors. Our primary treatment model is “social model.” The term social model refers to a person’s learned behavior as a result of modeling others behaviors (peers, siblings, parents, grandparents, media personalities). Recognizing an individual’s personal risks as they relate to addiction are key components to avoiding relapse. Factors such as: type of drug (alcohol, heroin, marijuana), susceptibility (perilous psychological tendencies) and environment (homes where drugs or alcohol are being used, workplace where drugs or alcohol are readily available). The treatment requires healthy role models, un-learning conditioned responses and minimizing the risk associated with certain, situations, people, places, jobs, etc.

Do we accept insurance?
We currently do not accept insurance as payment though some carriers do offer reimbursement for our services. We do however invoice our clients as though they were going to file insurance claims after completion. Our goal is to offer affordable care for those that do not have adequate insurance coverage.

Are we medically supervised?
Yes. We include a comprehensive medical evaluation to insure that each client is appropriate for alcohol detox and alcohol rehab. They are screened, evaluated and diagnosed in order to properly treat alcohol abuse or alcohol dependence and when needed prescribed appropriate medication to assist in a safe and effective detox. Unlike alcohol detox, alcohol rehab is a prescription free environment with just a few exceptions such as; high blood pressure medication, diabetes medications, antibiotic medications, etc.
